iPod Boombox

The boombox is back thanks to Lasonics revamp of their classic 80′s ghetto accessory. The original unit has lost its tape deck and found an iPod docking port in its place as well as av output, memory card and USB slots. The FM radio is maintained along with traditional graphic equaliser  though I’m not really sure why they didn’t hit it up with DAB?

Speaking of updating the classics for the next millenium, you could use the new squashable battery to power your boombox as you strut your stuff through the hood. Officially entitled the AtoD battery its fully rechargeable and made out of the same memory foam that I have on my pimp mattress. This clever little gizmo looks as fun to play with it as it is useful. I want one, not because I need batteries that much (bar my Wii controllers) but I want to squeeze it into as many things as possible.
